Our guides are the most experienced and qualified in the province, and can guarantee that you have a safe and challenging experience. INTRODUCTION TO ROCK CLIMBING
This program is ideal for the novice climber or outdoor enthusiast looking for a new challenge. Basic systems, knots, and safety procedures are covered, as well as basic climbing techniques, etiquette, gear selection and environmental ethics.
Dates: every weekend April through October
 
TOP ROPE ANCHORS
For the aspiring top-roper or gym climber looking to be an independent outdoor climber, this course is essential. Basic top rope and rappel systems, top and bottom anchors, the use of various belay and rappel devices are all covered. Completing this course will give you the knowledge and confidence to set up your own.
Dates: every weekend April through October
 
ASCENDING/RAPPELING
One or two day rappel/ascend course covers anchor selection, rappelling with ATC, Figure 8 and Gri Gri, ascending with prussiks, jumars and pulley assist systems. This course is a must for adventure racers, climbing instructors and aspiring big wall climbers

LEARNING TO LEAD
Two and four day programs available, with small class ratios. This course is designed for aspiring leaders, and both sport and traditional climbing are covered. Clipping, gear placement, traditional anchors, switching leads, basic aid climbing, escaping the belay, belaying a leader and second are skills that will be learned. Learn to Lead with the pros!
Dates: May 28, 29, June 4, 5. July 23, 24, 30, 31. Sept. 10, 11, 17, 18.
 
RIG RESCUE FOR OUTDOOR PURSUITS
An essential course for anyone in a guide position. Learn to set anchors, ascend and descend a rope, escape belay, tie off a rappel, set Z-pulleys and other haul systems.
Dates: May 7, 8, 14, 15. July 9,10, 17, 18. Sept. 24, 25, Oct 1, 2.
